December 5, 2011 § Leave a Comment

Holiday party season is in full force, and as usual, the first thing every fierce fashionista is looking for is a hot little sequin number to make sure cars see them as they’re teetering through the streets in sky-high platform pumps when it’s dark. I’ve been getting a lot of requests for a sequin dress post :ie, my analytics tell me I get hits when people google search “sequin dress for New Years.” So in a shamless pandering for hits, I bring you a selection of fly sequin dresses to compliment any budget.

What to Wear: Sheer Pattern Tights

Here’s a photo of Rihanna fully clothed. I know. Miraculous. But if the girl knows anything, it’s how to show a little skin, even when frigid temperatures force us into chunky sweaters and puffy coats, leaving the perceived state of your breasticles entirely to the imagination. No, Rihanna will not stand to be stifled in such a manner. So, homegirl gives us a little peek of her gams in a pair of scalloped sheer tights, with those glorious scallops stopping conveniently at garter height, assuring the masses that yes, the pop diva still has legs (Because we were worried.)

What can I say? I love this look. Being a bit of a narcissist, and a person with a fabulous set of legs, I went on the hunt to find those tights. The closest match that showed up on ShopStyle was this pair from Charlotte Russe for $7.50, which ain’t bad for something that will inevitably catch a mean run one right when I overzealously drop down low and sweep the floor with it:

They’ll do for now.

Where Am I?
